Canaan's Guitar

Canaan decided a few weeks ago that he'd really like to learn to play the guitar. I told him that if he was committed to practice, I would buy him a guitar when we got our tax refund. That child has amazed me with his willingness to learn. He's just beginning, but I love to see him concentrate so hard to learn. Sometimes he gets frustrated when he can't quite reach a chord, but each day his fingers form callouses, and they learn to stretch. He's going to be playing well in no time.
