A Gingerbread House and Cookies

With the decision to do some fun things with the kids to celebrate the Christmas season, we decided to make a Gingerbread house. I honestly have not attempted one since I was a teen. It wasn't as hard as I feared and the kids had a great time making it (who wouldn't like something that involves cookies, candy, and icing?). I think we may make this an annual project.

I read your blog for the first time today. What a wonderful life you have. You have a wonderful heritage, and you're giving that to your children, too. Your blog represents things that money can't buy. Treasure the time! I know you do.
